With the shambles that has been the so-called non-regulation of the water industry, it is now time for the government to bring in a new hard-hitting set of overseers.
Naturally these will have to have new names and logos to distance themselves from the old mob.
Who have failed miserably.
In a leaked paper (bad pun) here are the latest acronyms and their responsibilities:
- OFTWAT: Water
- OFFTRACK: Rail
- OFFBEAM: Air
- FCA – FREE COMMISSION AUTHORITY: no change – everyone is happy.
- OUTLAW: To bring a fair and open legal system to the planning system and to make all lawyers rich.
- OFF-ED: Sorry I don’t understand the question.
- OFF-COMM: We are experiencing a large number of calls. Just go on the internet and leave us alone.
- DICE: Gamble responsibility – oh, by the way you can’t win.
- PORNHUB: The British Board of Film Classification
- SNIP: This is new planning authority (no more PINS). And if you think it is a snip…well good luck. See OUTLAW ABOVE.
